Things I Learned This Week
*tap tap* is this thing on?
Heyyyyyyy. Things have been happening and bar prep has started (boring af) but I’m still listening and learning and here is a bit of stuff:
1. Don Cheadle is not British
Not really sure where this came from. Actually I do. The first Don Cheadle movie I ever watched was Ocean’s Eleven and his character is British. But then I put on Captain America: Civil War the other day and Rhodey is obviously American so I looked him up and wouldn’t you know. Don Cheadle is American. Anyways, this isn’t news. Moving on.
2. Kylie and Timothee Should Get Married
They went to the Knicks game last night with Kendall and Jordyn Woods was also there. Kylothee very cute to me. I see this as a first marriage for both of them.
3. Taylor and Travis Went to a George Strait Concert
Stealthy. Now show me your outfit!
4. Other Couple News
Monica Barbaro / Andrew Garfield and Kaia Gerber / Lewis Pullman are still going strong. Good for them. I love when pretty people get together. Also Kaia Gerber should be a talent scout. She always starts dating people on the precipice of their breakout role (Jacob Elordi, Austin Butler, Lewis Pullman). Good for her.
5. Sean Combs Trial
That jury selection process must’ve been aaaaassssssss. Anyways, I won’t be talking about it ever because the details are very disgusting but I’m rooting for Cassie and all other victims.
6. Amber Heard Had Twins!
Yay good for her, genuinely. She announced the birth of her twins, Agnes and Ocean. She’s living her best life in Spain and I really do hope she feels happy and at peace.
7. Mr. Pope
Things I have learned about the Pope since his promotion last week:
He plays Wordle and Words with Friends with his brothers every morning
His one brother (I think the one that lives in Florida) does not like Nancy Pelosi and I feel like is going to cause a lot of trouble for Pope Bob in the future
He goes by “Rob” or “Bob”
According to my friend Emily, he has been with a woman (we were lining up for graduation when she dropped this tidbit and I didn’t ask her to elaborate but now maybe she will)
He was at the same White Sox game as Obama in 2005
8. Met Gala Best Dressed
I don’t think I did this, did I? Overall, excellent theme. The Met’s themes are the best when they aren’t entirely centered around white people (see China: Through the Looking Glass, Superfine, and arguably Heavenly Bodies).
